Sherry Rousso was once head of production at McCaffrey and McCall, where her clients included Mercedes Benz, Hartford Insurance and JC Penney. She also opened and ran the New York office of Peterson Communications as executive producer, where she worked with several world famous directors including John St. Clair.

When a friend asked her to manage his Director of Photography career in 1989, she had no idea that within ten years she would be the owner of a prestigious and widely-respected agency representing dozens of the industry's finest directors of photography. Her advertising industry connections formed a natural bridge toward the creation of Sherry Rousso Associates.

When asked how it is that SRA has had such a successful climb, Sherry answers:

"I nurture a DP's ideas while also nurturing their clients."

Today, Sherry Rousso Associates represents numerous cinematographers across the U.S., including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Portland, Miami, Detroit as well as Canada and St Lucia, West Indies. The agency’s roster of DP’s spans the spectrum of cinematography, including narrative, commercial, documentary, corporate and music videos.
